Songs of the PsychOctopi - Ancient Sumerian legends reveal the presence of these psychic cephalopod agent provocateurs, each possessed of nine brains, and superannuated by virtue of their avoidance of mating rituals. Collectively they exert a guiding influence upon the subconscious collective mind of entire species, including mankind, by authority of those alien engineers who brought them here during the planet's biospheric origin. Using Musaphonic technology, we are now able to isolate and record their communications: psybient continuums of rhythms, notes, noise and various musical intonations which the listener may find of some subliminal interest. Scientific studies have demonstrated that these psycho-sonic emanations, when played at low volume during other humanoid activity, result in increased cosmic awareness and contentment. Attentive listening at full volume may also result in benign hallucinations. These sonic transcriptions have been selected as the most representative from our archive. It is our wish that their employment may endow the listener with enhanced depth and clarity.

Starsongs of the Cosmic Cockerels - Colloquially known as "space chickens," the Cosmic Cockerels have come to occupy a modest position in the universe, as well as most food chains, unlike the other ancient species--humanoids, nautiloids, insectoids, and serpentoids. And yet none of these other lifeforms possess the cosmic consciousness of the poultroids: housed in tiny brains which belie their psychic connection with higher dimensions of awareness and dignity. The plaintive, gnomic utterances of the Cosmic Cockerel in all its manifestations possesses a strident conception of life in all its tragic and precious limitation, balanced with a philosophic acceptance of what would for all others constitute an unacceptable station of the corporeal life. But the cry of the Cockerels directs us to the contemplation of verities beyond the mundane and the visceral, to recall a future state of completion contradistinct to the foolish vanity of the flesh. Sober truths couched in these chilly grooves, but the chicks dig it.
